July 22-25, 2011 University of Caen, France
After Stockholm, Heraklion, Rio de Janeiro and Norfolk, Caen (France) has the honour to organize ISIAC (International Symposium on Ion Atom Collisions) in July, 2011.
ISIAC 2011 is a three-day satellite meeting taking place from July the 22nd to the 25th, right before ICPEAC in Belfast. The meeting is expected to attract about 100 participants from all over the world. It gives the researchers, PhD student and post-docs an opportunity to present and exchange detailed information at a smaller specialized meeting set. As usual, the symposium will cover all ion-atom collision phenomena including excitation, ionization and charge transfer, from sub-thermal to relativistic velocities as well as interactions of ions with surfaces, molecules and clusters.
Presentation will include invited talks as well as two poster sessions. Here is a preliminary list of topics, depending on the participation.
Fundamental processes in ion-atom and ion-molecule interactions.
Ion-surface and ion-solid interactions.
Fragmentation of molecules and clusters.
Ion-biomolecule interactions.
Ion collisions with targets in MOTs.
Laser assisted collisions.
Atomic collision processes
New developments, techniques and instrumentation.
Applications.
