  • ii) Novel laser crystals & ceramics for ultrafast oscillators at 2 um ;
  • iii) Saturable absorbers based on carbon nanostructures (graphene, SWCNTs) ;
  • iv) Thermo-optic effects for anisotropic laser materials ;
  • v) Spectroscopy of rare-earth and transition-metal ions.
