The International Student Conference on Photonics 2012 will be held on May 8th-11th 2012 in Sinaia (Romania).This is the annual conference organized by Romanian SPIE Student Chapter and follows the previous ISWLA conferences. This edition celebrates to the 50th anniversary since the first Romanian laser was developed by Prof. Ion I. Agarbiceanu and coworkers.

A christmas lunch was organized by the student chapter. Students spent a good time together.

Our Chapter attended the Optics & Photonics Day in Besançon (FEMTO-ST laboratory). This event gathered french and german student chapters. A lecture was given by Pr. Kobus Kuipers about nano-optics.
