Short CV :

- 1993-1996 : PhD researcher at the University of Caen on electron capture processes in ion-atom collisions at low velocities (v << 1 atomic unit)
- 1996-1997 : Post-Doctoral fellow at the University of Caen
- 1997-1998 : Post-Doctoral fellow at the Hahn-Meitner Institute of Berlin, Germany (fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation)
- 1998-2008 : Associate Professor (Maître de Conférences) at the University of Caen and at the Centre Interdisciplinaire de Recherche sur les Ions et les Lasers (CIRIL)
- Since 2008 : Full Professor at the University of Caen and at the Centre de Recherche sur les Ions, les Matériaux et la Photonique (CIMAP, former CIRIL)

Research activities in Collision Physics (from 1993) :

- Double and multiple electron capture in ion-atom and ion-molecule collisions (Auger electron spectroscopy, ion spectroscopy, model calculations).
- Single and multiple ionization and excitation of atomic and molecular targets (electron spectroscopy, time-of-flight spectroscopy, theoretical calculations).
- Electron correlation, dielectronic processes, direct and exchange “shake” processes in charge transfer processes
- Electron interference effects in direct ionization and autoionization following ion-molecule collisions (electron spectroscopy and model calculations).
- Molecular and cluster fragmentation by charged-particle impact / Formation of negative ions in collisions between positive ions and neutral molecules (experiments and models).

Teaching activities :

- Teacher at the University of Caen Normandie at the Licence (Mechanics, Óptics, Electromagnetism, Thermodynamics) and Master (Atomic Physics, Collision Physics) degrees ( 195 teaching hours/year).
- Co-author of a book for Master degree students : “Physique Atomique et Moléculaire - Ions dans les Solides - Systèmes lasers”, 1008 pages in 2 volumes, by G.L. Cremer, R.Moncorgé, J.-Y. Chesnel and L. Adoui (2010).

Main current responsabilities :

- Group leader of the AMA team (atomic, molecular, and clusters physics) (since 2014)
- Professor responsible for the Master degree (M1) in Physics at the University of Caen (since 2008)
- Full member of the National Council of the French Universities (Conseil National des Universités CNU) (2007-2008 and since 2011)
