We are delighted to share that our latest research paper “X-ray diffraction combined analysis method for the determination of cellulose crystal ultrastructure for free and deformed flax fibre bundles” has been featured as the cover of the first 2026 issue of Cellulose, Springer Nature. 🎉
This publication showcases the innovative work of our team in an X-ray diffraction (XRD) characterization of the flax ultrastructure using for the first time, the combined “structure/microstructure/texture” analysis method implemented in the Maud software and based on a Rietveld algorithm.
This work will be completed through a single fiber study using synchrotron XRD and second-harmonic imaging microscopy as part of Shima Oboudi‘s PhD work, which is funded by the Région Normandie at Université de Caen Normandie – Laboratoire CIMAP
We are grateful to A. French, Editor-in-Chief of Cellulose Springer Nature, for his warm advices and confidence.
